Being let down, having to call back for the same issue; only to be charged repeatedly for the same repairs is frustrating.

We guarantee the job will be correct the first time. Keeping you informed of any potential repairs that may arise in the future, making budgeting for maintenance much easier.

We can provide a second opinion. Not every diagnosis we have come across has been correct which can leave you with an unnecessary expense. There is never a good time to replace a heating or cooling system. If we can help by repairing your unit, you will have the time to budget for a new system. Our customer’s needs come first! Making happy customers is our goal.

Giving back to the community is something we pride ourselves with. We realize that seniors have budgets, and having to recoup an unexpected expense means cutting back on other expenses. We would like to help in giving back to our senior community; by giving 10% off of Repairs and 15% off of Installations.

What We Do

Hot Water Tank Installation and Repairs

At comfortable climate solutions we have found that many hot water tanks are left and forgotten about until there is an issue.

Show more information
We like to inform our customers about how they can take care of their equipment with little things like flushing their tank once a year. This can help with the longevity of the tank by removing any calcium build up that has settled at the bottom of the tank, it will also help with your heating costs as it will not take as long to heat the water. If you are unsure how to do this we can do an inspection and then create a personal video for you so that you could complete it on your own in the future. If this isn’t something you would like to do that’s fine you can always call a pro from Comfortable Climate Solutions. If your hot water tank needs replacing we can help with that also. We like to use our preferred choice which is Rheem with a 6 year warranty and the available option to extend to 10 year. I prefer the Rheem as other manufacturers ask the installer to put a sticker on the side to say that it has extended warranty, where as Rheem provides you with ANOTHER anode rod which will help protect your tank from corrosion and actually help with the longevity.

Did you know that you should replace your anode rod every 5 years, by doing this you can double the life of your Hot Water tank. The other name for an anode rod is a sacrificial rod as the name suggests it sacrifices itself to protect your tank.

There are 3 main common types of anode rods.

This is the most common type of anode rod. Although the magnesium corrodes faster than other metals it has the best protection for your tank. This type of rod can not be used in a home with hard water, as corrosion will be accelerated to the point where the rod won’t really be providing any reliable long term protection.

Zinc Anode:
Zinc rods are made from a combination of aluminum and zinc, it’s 1 part zinc to 10 parts of aluminum. Zinc helps to reduce the smell of sulfur which can affect some water tanks, although the newer Hot Water Tanks are not usually supplied with zinc anode rods from the factory.

This is the traditional metal rod, often found in older tanks and hot water tanks. Do you remember when parents would tell their children to not drink from the hot water tap. The reason for this was because there could be poisonous effects from the aluminum. This knowledge is has become familiar with homeowners, and the use of these rods in hot water tanks has decreased yet they are used in applications with hard water.

Benefits of Air-Conditioning Maintenance
Regular Maintenance extends the life of your central AC unit
– just like a vehicle, an air conditioner can only run for so long without a tune-up. If your running your car with no oil there can be devastating failures. You can prevent these failures in your AC unit by doing a yearly maintenance.

Offers Greater Energy Efficiency
– Part of the maintenance process includes inspecting and cleaning blades, cooling coils, and other essential parts of the unit. Cleaner coils are able to provide cooler temperatures with greater energy savings than coils that do not receive maintenance on at least an annual basis. Lower your bills and stay cooler as temperatures rise.

Ensures Greater Comfort
– During the preventative maintenance visit, skilled technicians carefully inspect all essential components of the air conditioner. They can notice any irregularities or issues that might be of concern. With your system running properly, you will have uninterrupted comfort while inside your home.

Requires Fewer Costly Service Calls and Repairs.
– Regular maintenance of air conditioners, heat pumps, and similar units may seem like a brief inconvenience, but in reality it is an appointment well worth making. Similar to a doctor or dentist checkup, the maintenance checkup allows HVAC professionals to make sure that your unit is in the best condition possible. Any damaged or worn parts can be replaced before further deterioration of them would damage other components or impede the operation of the unit. A little prevention now saves money in the long run.

Longer System Life
– Adequate maintenance of your air conditioner has been proven to double the lifespan of the unit. For example, replacing and cleaning the air filters can have an advantageous effect on air conditioning system performance. Checking the system for any damage on the pump, belts, and other parts allows you to keep the system running at optimal performance.

Improved Air Quality
– The air conditioner is supposed to give your house a clean, fresh air. Dirt and rust cause poor air quality and can be a risk to your health resulting in allergies and other breathing problems. Apart from health issues, a dirty air condition is likely to fill your house with an unpleasant smell instead of fresh air.

Humidifier Repairs and Installs

We are a trusted professional giving you quality humidifier installs or repairs every time. We have years of experience installing humidifiers. We can service from large to small applications from bypass to steam. We can also provide advice on the best humidifier suited for your personal application.

Benefits of a Humidifier
Humidify Houseplants

Humans aren’t the only ones that benefit from moist air. In fact, many of the most popular houseplants come from the jungle, which means they thrive in environments that have an abundance of moisture in the air. When the air is too dry, it can cause also issues for the plants, including leaf loss, dry leaf tips and stunted growth. Obviously, this will all depend on the type of plants you have in your home, but using a humidifier gives your indoor garden a better chance of thriving.

Protect Your Furniture & Floors

Wooden elements, such as flooring and furniture, react negatively to fluctuations in humidity. When wooden items become too dry, it’s possible for them to crack and split. If you have the optimal levels of humidity in your home, you also protect the suppleness and integrity of your wood furnishings.

Preventing influenza

Authors of one study noted that humidifiers might reduce the risk of catching the flu. After adding the influenza virus to the air with a simulated cough, researchers found that humidity levels above 40 percent rapidly deactivated virus particles, making them much less likely to be infectious.

Making a cough more productive

Dry air can cause a person to have a dry, unproductive cough. Adding humidity to the air can get more moisture into the airways, which can make a cough more productive. A productive cough releases trapped or sticky phlegm.

Reducing snoring

Increasing the amount of moisture in the air can also reduce snoring. If the air is dry, a person’s airways are less likely to be sufficiently lubricated, which can make snoring worse.

Adding humidity to the air by running a humidifier at night may help to relieve some symptoms.

Keeping the skin and hair moist

Some people notice that their skin, lips, and hair become dry and fragile in the winter.

Many types of heating units pump hot, dry air through the house or office, which can make the skin dry, itchy, or flaky. Cold air outside can also dry out the skin.

Using a humidifier to add moisture to the indoor air may help to reduce the occurrence of dry, cracked skin.

Benefits for the home

Moisture from a humidifier can be helpful around the home. Any moisture-loving houseplants may become more vibrant, and wood floors or furniture may last longer. Humidity can also help to prevent wallpaper from cracking and static electricity from building up.

Humid air can also feel warmer than dry air, which could help a person to save money on utility bills in winter months.
